Maneater

The Maneater was stolen last week. Okay, not the Maneater itself, but stacks of issues were. I was surprised (sort of) to hear that members of a fraternity committed the crime. I was caught off guard when I found out that seven members had turned themselves in. I was not in the least surprised that it was members of a fraternity that did it. Just to be judgmental and stereotype people, Greeks do not seem to be the best people, especially the guys. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if fraternities are responsible for the majority of campus crimes. I've read so many stories about members of frats being caught doing something. I don't know if it's the Greek system that's responsible, or just that stupid and criminal guys are drawn to it. Burning possums (That was last year.), harassing people, stealing papers. However, in this case I will go a bit easier in my condemnation. The article in the Missourian said that the thieves apologized to the Maneater before turning themselves in. These guys weren't complete idiots. It's good to curry favor, right? One last thought: The Missourian leaves a link to the Maneater's website. Is that right? Would they do that for another business mentioned in an article?
